Every year, more than 60 volunteers help the Tioga County Historical Society meet its mission and goals by donating in excess of 4,000 hours of their time to helping at the Museum. We greatly appreciate their dedication and all of their hard work.
Volunteers perform a variety of duties throughout the Museum. All the “behind the scenes” work at the museum, including genealogy and collections, are performed by hardworking volunteers. Volunteers who work Behind-the-Scenes
Volunteers who work behind the scenes offer a wide range of essential services for the museum. These volunteers work side-by-side performing genealogy services, working with our Curator, and more. Skills generally required are organizational and administrative in nature and might include providing computer and clerical services, cataloging our collection, or even housekeeping and landscaping services.
