President’s Day Exhibit
On the third Monday of February, we celebrate President’s Day! This day recognizes the birthdays of two of our most famous presidents, George Washington and Abraham Lincoln. This mini-exhibit will feature interesting artifacts from both Washington and Lincoln, as well as various other American men who have served terms in office.
American Flag Exhibit
The American flag has experienced many different designs since our country’s birth. There are 13-star flags of the original colonies to 48-star flags of the 1950’s that had yet to include Hawaii and Alaska. This exhibit will feature the journey our flag has taken, along with each one’s tie to Tioga County history. Various other flags will be up to view as well.
Tioga County Railroads Exhibit (Main)
Tioga County has a rich history of railways. After being forced to postpone due to COVID-19 last year, the Railroad Exhibit is scheduled to begin on Saturday, May 15, 2021. It will continue for the summer and into the fall months, until we begin preparing for the Christmas season once again. More details will be available soon.
